The paper “Resource-Efficient Time-to-Digital Converter with Integrated Coincidence-Counting Unit for Photonic-based Quantum Computing”, authored by Amit Kharade and collaborators from the Center for Quantum Science and Technologies (CQST), IIT Mandi, has been accepted as a Full Paper at IEEE ISVLSI 2026 and will be published in the conference proceedings.

The paper “Efficient and Reversible Chirality Induction Between Protein and Achiral Plasmonic Assemblies”, co-authored by Dr. Vaibhav Gupta has been published in Nature Materials.

Dr.Vaibhav Gupta as the Co-PI with Dr. Amit Jaiswal (IIT Mandi) as the PI have received grant for their project on "Biomimetic Chiral Plasmonic Gold Nanorattles for Sensing , Diagnostic and Photothermal Therpy" from ANRF.

Utkarsh Gunwant Giradkar, a BTech student at IIT Mandi, working with Dr. Amit Ladd, won the best poster award in SQT-2026.

The Center of Quantum Science and Technologies organized the first Symposium on Quantum Technologies at IIT Mandi from 20th March 2026 to 21st March 2026.

The Center for Quantum Science and Technologies (CQST), IIT Mandi, is pleased to announce an upcoming symposium dedicated to advancing research and collaboration in emerging areas of quantum science and technology. This event will bring together researchers, academicians, and industry experts to share recent developments, discuss innovative methodologies, and explore future directions in quantum computing, quantum communication, and related interdisciplinary fields.

The symposium will feature invited talks, technical presentations, and interactive discussions designed to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration among participants. It will provide a platform for researchers and students to engage with leading experts and gain insights into current challenges and opportunities in quantum technologies.

Dr. Jaskaran Singh as the PI and Dr. Amit D Lad as the Co-PI along with Prof. Arvind (IISER Mohali), Prof. Kavita Dorai (IISER Mohali), Dr. Harpreet Singh (GNDU, Amritsar) have received grant for their project "Design, implementation and benchmarking of variational quantum eigen-solvers on indigenous noisy-intermediate-scale-quantum-devices for chemical and strategic applications" from DST-NQM.

Dr.Amit D Lad as the PI and Dr. Jaskaran Singh as the Co-PI have received grant for their project on "Quantum-Enhanced Bio-Imaging: Squeezed-Light Super-resolution Microscopy for Live Deep Tissue Analysis" from DBT India.
